As you all know, Peñin Guide 2017 is a very important reference when it comes to assessing the qualities of Spanish wines (11,500 wines tasted). Evidently this has a history behind it, which we summarize:
• 2011 Guide: 2 wines with 90 or more points
• 2012 Guide: 4 wines with 90 or more points
• Guide 2013: 6 wines scored with 90 or more points
• 2015 Guide: 7 wines scored with 90 or more points
• 2016 Guide: 9 wines scored with 90 or more points
• 2011 Guide: 11 wines scored with 90 or more points and only 11 wines were tasted!
… and fortunately, in all cases, this quantitative increase has been accompanied by an absolute regularity in the scores, from the first moment.
